About The Toronto African Violet Society

The Toronto African Violet Society is a not for profit group whose aim is to share the 'addiction' of African Violets by fostering interest and improved growing techniques among it's members. We know that, in the process, many new and exciting friendships develop along the way.

Among our Activities:

Monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month from September to May.  These meetings will often include a guest speakers, beginners corner, raffle table, plant sales and other interesting items

Annual Show and Sale at the Toronto Botanical Gardens, 777 Lawrence Avenue East.

Open House and Plant Sale on the last Sunday of September at the Toronto Botanical Gardens.

Members receive a monthly newsletter from September through June.   Advance notice of meeting content and access to our "members only" section of this website.

Membership fees are $15.00 per year.

Our society is affiliated with 'The African Violet Society of Canada', 'The African Violet Society of America' and 'The New York State African Violet Society'.
